Former AEW Manager Spotted At WWE Clash In Paris

CJ Perry was spotted in France during WWE’s Clash in Paris premium live event, supporting her husband, Rusev. A photo posted on X by the account WrestlingWorldCC showed Perry in attendance for the show. Her appearance is notable as the couple, who married in 2016, had separated in the winter of 2023 before reconciling in March 2025, according to a report from TMZ.

Perry was there to watch Rusev compete against Sheamus in a Good Ol’ Fashioned Donnybrook match. The bout served as the tiebreaker in their recent rivalry, which had seen the two trade victories on Monday Night Raw over the summer. Rusev scored the first win on the June 30th episode, while Sheamus evened the series on July 21st.

The match at Clash in Paris was a physical, weapon-filled brawl that saw both men use steel chairs, kendo sticks, and ring steps. The contest concluded after Rusev broke a shillelagh across Sheamus’s back and then used the broken piece to add pressure during his Accolade submission hold, forcing Sheamus to tap out. The submission was a decisive finish, marking only the second time in Sheamus’s 16-year WWE career that he has lost a match in that manner.

The victory is a significant step for Rusev, who returned to WWE in April 2025 after he and AEW mutually agreed to part ways in February. In recent interviews, Rusev stated his primary goal for this run is to win the World Heavyweight Championship.

Perry’s history with Rusev is well-documented on-screen. She served as his manager in WWE from 2013 to 2018 and also briefly accompanied him in AEW during his time there as Miro, debuting at All Out in 2023. The event also featured other celebrities in attendance, including Post Malone and Jelly Roll.
