Former WWE star Baron Corbin, now performing as Bishop Dyer, has reacted to John Cena using his signature “End of Days” finisher at Clash in Paris. During his match against Logan Paul, Cena incorporated the move into his offense, prompting Dyer to post a GIF on Twitter of the character Bubbles from the television series Trailer Park Boys with a wide-eyed expression.
Cena’s use of the move was part of a series of tributes he paid to former opponents during the match, which is part of his ongoing 2025 retirement tour. In a post-match interview, Cena explained his reasoning, stating that with only a few matches left, he wouldn’t be able to wrestle everyone who was influential in his career. He said the best way to say “thank you” was to pay homage by using some of their moves. During the same contest, Cena also used AJ Styles’s “Styles Clash,” which drew a loud reaction from the Paris crowd.
The match itself was a victory for Cena, marking his 99th win at a WWE premium live event. He defeated Logan Paul in a bout praised for its storytelling, securing the win after delivering two consecutive Attitude Adjustments. The match was Cena’s first as a babyface in 2025, following a five-month run as a heel character that began at Elimination Chamber earlier this year.
The tribute to Corbin is notable given their history. The two feuded during the summer of 2017, which included Cena costing Corbin his Money in the Bank contract cash-in opportunity against then-WWE Champion Jinder Mahal. Their rivalry culminated in a one-on-one match at that year’s SummerSlam.
The win in Paris was the 28th of 36 planned appearances on Cena’s farewell tour. His final match is scheduled for December 13, 2025. His next confirmed appearance will be on the September 5 episode of SmackDown in Chicago, followed by a match at Wrestlepaloza in Indianapolis on September 20.
