Quinton “Rampage” Jackson has released a new, detailed statement regarding the violent incident involving his son, Raja Jackson, and independent wrestler Syko Stu at a KnokX Pro event on August 23. In the statement, Jackson says the in-ring attack was part of a planned storyline that escalated after Stu hit his son in the head with a real beer can earlier in the day.

“If psycho Stu wasn’t drunk and wouldn’t have hit my son over the head with a (real beer can) while he was live streaming on his own stream then Knox wouldn’t have felt like they had to make things right by letting Raja get his “get back” in the ring!” Jackson wrote. He added that while he is “pissed” at his son for taking things too far, he believes the initial provocation from Stu is being overlooked.

The incident saw Raja Jackson legitimately knock out Stu with a slam before delivering over 20 strikes to his head. Stu was hospitalized with serious injuries, including a significant head injury, jaw trauma, a fractured maxilla bone, and the loss of several teeth. He has since been released from the hospital and is recovering at home.

Jackson claims the entire situation was staged but acknowledged his son’s response was excessive. “My son should face the consequences for going too far,he knows better!” he stated. He also revealed that Raja had suffered a concussion from sparring the day before the incident and should not have been involved in any physical altercation.

The former UFC champion criticized the spread of misinformation online, which he says has led to racist threats against his family. “People actually think my son just snuck in a ring in front of a live audience and picked psycho Stu up without permission to be there! Get smart people! It was staged!”

The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the incident and has filed a felony battery report, though no arrests have been made. The attack has drawn widespread condemnation from figures in both wrestling and MMA, including Jeff Jarrett and Josh Thomson. Raja Jackson’s account on the streaming platform Kick has been banned, and he has also been banned from appearing at a Danger Pro Wrestling event in Southern California.
