During tonight’s broadcast of Monday Night Raw from the La Défense Arena in Paris, Michael Cole announced a significant new media rights deal for WWE in France. Starting in January 2026, Raw will begin airing live on Netflix in the country. The deal will also bring SmackDown, NXT, and all premium live events to the streaming platform.
The announcement comes on the heels of a successful weekend for WWE in France, which hosted Clash in Paris at the same venue on August 31. The premium live event set a new record for the arena’s highest-grossing gate, with an announced attendance of 30,343. The Parisian crowd was a major highlight of both shows, continuing a trend of passionate and energetic audiences seen at the Backlash event in Lyon in May 2024.
Currently, WWE programming in France, including Raw, SmackDown, and NXT, airs on a tape delay on the AB1 channel, with premium live events still available on the WWE Network. The move to Netflix represents a major shift, offering live access to all of WWE’s flagship programming on a single platform.
This new deal for France is part of a broader global media rights transition for WWE. Internationally, premium live events are already available on Netflix in most markets. In the United States, Clash in Paris marked the final main roster premium live event to be broadcast on Peacock. Beginning with Wrestlepalooza on September 20, WWE’s major events will move to ESPN’s new direct-to-consumer streaming service. The partnership with Netflix in France further solidifies the streaming giant’s growing relationship with WWE.
