WWE Reportedly Planning Major “Name Value” PLE For Paris In 2027

A new report indicates WWE is considering a significant return to France in 2027. Following the success of Clash in Paris, sources at WrestleVotes Radio revealed that many within the company are pushing to bring a “name value” premium live event to the city. While no specific event has been confirmed, a show on the level of Money in the Bank, Survivor Series, or the Royal Rumble is reportedly under consideration for some time in 2027.

The internal push for a major show in Paris comes directly on the heels of the company’s highly successful weekend in the French capital. Clash in Paris, which took place on Sunday, August 31, was a landmark event for WWE, setting a new single-event attendance record for the Paris La Défense Arena with 30,343 fans. The electric atmosphere was noted by the company, which described the crowd as one of its most passionate in recent memory.

That event was headlined by a fatal four-way match where Seth Rollins retained his World Heavyweight Championship over CM Punk, LA Knight, and Jey Uso. Rollins secured the victory after a surprising interference from his wife, Becky Lynch, who aligned herself with his faction, The Vision. The show also featured John Cena defeating Logan Paul in what was Cena’s only pay-per-view match in France before his planned retirement at the end of 2025. In the opening contest, Roman Reigns was victorious over Bronson Reed.

The fallout from Clash in Paris was immediate. On the subsequent episode of Monday Night Raw on September 1, it was announced that Roman Reigns sustained multiple fractured ribs and would be out of action indefinitely. That same night, CM Punk confronted Rollins to demand another championship match, only to be met by Becky Lynch, who taunted and slapped him before her husband appeared.
