Fan Confronts WWE Executive Over “High Ticket Prices”

A fan confronted WWE President Nick Khan about the company’s ticket prices on September 4 at Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights. The interaction took place inside the Wyatts’ “Sick” House attraction, was captured on video, and later circulated online.

The fan expressed admiration for WWE but noted that ticket prices felt high. Khan initially joked that he thought the prices were “too cheap.” After the fan clarified the costs were steep for him, Khan responded, “I understand.”

This exchange brings a fan’s perspective directly to an executive amid a wider debate over WWE’s pricing strategy. The company, operating under TKO Group Holdings, utilizes a dynamic pricing model that TKO President Mark Shapiro described in May 2025 as having “tremendous upside,” signaling no plans to reduce costs.

While many fans complain online about significant price increases, WWE has consistently set new gate records throughout the year.

This aggressive ticketing approach is a component of a larger TKO business strategy. The strategy also includes securing major media rights deals, such as the partnership with Netflix for Monday Night Raw that started in January 2025.
