New merchandise for AJ Lee is now available on the WWE Shop, released immediately after she made her return to the company on the September 5 episode of SmackDown. The new apparel includes a t-shirt featuring her classic logo on the front and the phrase “Love Bites Back” on the back, a direct nod to her original “Love Bites” slogan.
Lee appeared at the Allstate Arena in her husband CM Punk’s hometown of Chicago, confronting Becky Lynch. The confrontation stemmed from Lynch’s actions at WWE Clash in Paris, where she cost Punk the World Heavyweight Championship. During the segment, Lynch slapped Punk, which prompted AJ Lee’s music to hit, leading to her attacking Lynch in the ring.
This return marks Lee’s first appearance in a WWE ring in over a decade.
She officially departed WWE on April 3, 2015, following a final match at WrestleMania 31. Her retirement was prompted by lingering neck injuries and reported backstage tensions at the time. The immediate availability of new merchandise signals a new chapter for Lee with the company after her long absence.
