Dalton Castle Returns to AEW TV

Dalton Castle is back on AEW television, making his return during the September 6 episode of AEW Collision. In an on-screen segment, Castle revealed a new alliance with the tag team The Outrunners.

The segment established the partnership by first showing The Outrunners looking for a way to solve their recent problems in the tag team division. Castle then appeared, positioning himself as the answer they were seeking.

Their first interaction as a new group concluded with a parody of a scene from the film Predator. This new faction provides a potential shift in direction for The Outrunners, who have been working to regain momentum, and marks the end of a prolonged television absence for Castle.

Earlier in the broadcast, the show also set the stage for another potential return. During a backstage promo, Big Bill issued a direct challenge to an absent Eddie Kingston, accusing him of only pretending to be a tough guy.

“In Philadelphia, I hit rock bottom, and the residents showed their true colors and mocked me,” Big Bill said, claiming that happened “because I came from New York City, where real tough people were made.” He then stated he was “calling out someone from New York who only pretended to be a tough guy: Eddie Kingston.”

The challenge comes as Kingston remains sidelined from multiple leg injuries he sustained in May 2024 at NJPW STRONG Resurgence.
