Brock Lesnar is set to be added as a playable character in WWE 2K25 later this year, according to a new report from a prominent WWE Games dataminer. The inclusion would mark Lesnar’s official return to the video game series after he was removed from the main roster of WWE 2K24.
His removal from the previous title was requested by WWE after Lesnar was named in the Janel Grant lawsuit, though he remained a non-playable opponent in that game’s Showcase mode.
The new information comes from content creator Witty Witterson, who reported finding the details within the game’s files. According to the dataminer, Lesnar will be included in the upcoming “John Cena Farewell Tour edition” pack.
In a statement, Witterson identified the full contents of the pack: “I have NOW managed to identify ALL 4 Superstars in the Farewell Tour Edition Pack that is coming up: R-Truth Ron Cena, John Cena (WM41), John Cena ‘03, Brock Lesnar (Content is based on data found in game files and could change) #WWE2K25”
A release date for the John Cena Farewell Tour Edition DLC has not yet been announced.
