Roman Reigns Gets New Nickname From Paul Heyman During WWE RAW

Paul Heyman has officially broken his silence following the attack from Roman Reigns at Clash in Paris. In a social media post reacting to the incident, Heyman gave The Tribal Chief a new moniker: “The fascist dictator of The Island of Relevancy.”

The verbal strike is a direct response to the events in Paris, where Reigns put Heyman in a guillotine after defeating Bronson Reed. The attack served as payback for WrestleMania 41, where Heyman betrayed both Reigns and CM Punk. The moment occurred after Reigns had reclaimed his stolen shoes—dubbed the “shoe-la-falla” by Reed—from Heyman, choosing to exact his revenge on his former Wiseman.

Reason for Brutal Attack on Roman Reigns

However, Reigns’ retribution on Heyman was immediately followed by a brutal beatdown at the hands of Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. After spearing Reigns through the announce table, Breakker and Reed continued the assault in the ring with another spear and multiple Tsunami splashes, leaving Reigns to be carried out on a stretcher.

That entire post-match assault was a deliberate storyline angle designed to write Roman Reigns off WWE television for an extended period.

The on-screen beatdown provides cover for Reigns’ planned hiatus to film a major Hollywood project. He is set to portray the character Akuma in the live-action “Street Fighter” movie, with filming in Australia scheduled to last approximately four weeks.

This filming schedule confirms that Reigns will be absent for the upcoming Wrestlepalooza premium live event on September 20.

The storyline fallout is already unfolding on WWE programming. An enraged Bron Breakker, whose delayed intervention in Paris remains unexplained, nearly came to blows with The Usos on Raw over the incident with Heyman before being held back by Reed, leading to an attack on both men by LA Knight.
