Luchador Hechicero has officially signed a full-time contract with All Elite Wrestling. He confirmed during an appearance on Fox Sports Mexico’s All Elite show that the landmark agreement is a dual deal, allowing him to remain a part of the Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) roster.
Hechicero commented on the significance of the multi-year arrangement, highlighting the trust placed in him by both AEW’s Tony Khan and CMLL’s Salvador Lutteroth. “I am the first wrestler to have a double multi-year deal, and I take that with a lot of responsibility because it reinforces the alliance, how CMLL keeps expanding its wrestling, and of course the global dominance that AEW has.”
While reports of the dual contract had circulated since July, this marks the first on-the-record confirmation from the luchador himself. Hechicero has become a regular presence on company programming since first appearing in early 2024, eventually joining the Don Callis Family faction.
His new status as a full-time roster member follows a period of high-profile matches, including a recent challenge for the Ring of Honor World Championship against Bandido at the Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view.
The signing formally solidifies the ongoing working relationship between the two promotions.
