Triple H Gives Major Update on WrestlePalooza’s Future

The future of WWE’s newest Premium Live Event, WrestlePalooza, may depend entirely on the success of its debut. On The Pat McAfee Show, Triple H addressed whether the event could become a permanent fixture on the company’s calendar.

His response was direct, tying the show’s future to its performance on September 20. “I think it will be, probably, depending on how this one goes we’ll see,” Triple H stated.

This inaugural show marks a significant moment for WWE, reviving the classic ECW event name for its first-ever PLE on ESPN, which kicks off a new multi-year partnership. The company is stacking the card to ensure a strong start for the venture, which is set to take place at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

The current lineup already features several high-stakes encounters. John Cena is scheduled to face Brock Lesnar in what’s being billed as their final battle, a major stop on Cena’s retirement tour. The event will also host the in-ring return of AJ Lee after more than a decade, as she teams with her husband CM Punk to take on the duo of Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch.

Rounding out the announced card is a powerhouse tag team match pitting The Usos against Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, and a bout between IYO SKY and Stephanie Vaquer to crown a new Women’s World Champion.
