Tiffany Stratton May Undergo Anticipated Character Shift in WWE

WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton is making a trip back to her old stomping grounds, but a potential character shift is grabbing all the attention.

On next Tuesday’s NXT Homecoming special, Stratton will team with Rhea Ripley and Stephanie Vaquer to take on the trio of Fatal Influence—Jacy Jayne, Jazmyn Nyx, and Fallon Henley. The match was made official after a confrontation between the teams at Full Sail University on this week’s episode of NXT.

The main story bubbling under the surface, however, is the possibility of Stratton turning heel during the bout, perhaps by walking out on her partners to give Fatal Influence the win. Such a move could inject some needed unpredictability into the SmackDown women’s division. This potential turn isn’t just random booking, as it connects directly to the champion’s own feelings about her on-screen persona.

Stratton on Her Babyface Character

Stratton has been working as a babyface since February, but in a recent podcast interview, she stated that she finds playing a heel “ten times easier.”

The 26-year-old champion explained that she learned to wrestle with that persona, making it feel far more natural. She admitted she is still getting the hang of being a “likable” babyface, fueling the idea that a return to her roots could be on the horizon.
