Stephanie Vaquer Denies Injury Rumors Ahead Of WWE Wrestlepalooza

Stephanie Vaquer has officially put an end to speculation about her health, confirming she is not injured and is set to compete at Wrestlepalooza on September 20. During an interview with Adrian Hernandez, Vaquer directly addressed the rumors. “No, I saw on social media sometimes, many things not real, no injuries, I’m ready,” she stated. “I’m ready for Raw for next Monday, so no, no injuries I’m good.”

The concerns began after a scheduled contract signing between Vaquer and IYO SKY for the vacant Women’s World Championship was canceled on the September 8 episode of Raw because Vaquer could not appear. This led to a report from Dave Meltzer that she was dealing with a “minor injury” but would likely be cleared for the title match in Indianapolis.

Further cementing her readiness, Vaquer appeared on WWE NXT just one night after missing Raw. She joined Tiffany Stratton and Rhea Ripley to challenge Fatal Influence, setting up a six-woman tag team match for NXT Homecoming on September 16. Her confirmation locks in a crucial title bout for the inaugural Wrestlepalooza premium live event.

The Build to Wrestlepalooza

The confirmation is welcome news for an event that has faced some hurdles despite being positioned by TKO executives as a future “tentpole” premium live event.

After experiencing slowing ticket sales, WWE recently lowered prices for the show at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, with the cheapest standard ticket dropping from $222.90 to $192.
