WWE Set to End Longtime Holiday Tradition at Madison Square Garden

According to a new backstage report, WWE is set to end its long-running tradition of holding a live event at Madison Square Garden immediately following the Christmas holiday. The change is expected to take effect in 2025, bringing a notable era for the company and the iconic venue to a close.

The post-holiday house show has been a staple for WWE fans in New York, running annually since 2010. Typically taking place on December 26, the event became a reliable and anticipated part of the company’s winter schedule for over a decade.

This news, originating from WrestleVotes Radio, surfaces as WWE prepares for another significant event at “The World’s Most Famous Arena” later this year.

On November 17, John Cena is scheduled to have his final career appearance in Madison Square Garden. With the holiday tradition now reportedly also concluding, it marks a significant shift for WWE’s presence in the building that was long considered its home turf.
