Saudi Arabia is reportedly aiming for a legendary lineup at WrestleMania 43, with a wishlist that includes The Rock, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, Shawn Michaels, and The Undertaker for in-ring returns. According to a report from Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, the hosts are determined to make the first WrestleMania outside North America one of the biggest shows of all time.
The report highlights a particular focus on Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Meltzer states that Saudi Arabia is prepared to make “the biggest offer in wrestling history” to secure him for a single match, adding serious fuel to the long-rumored dream match against his cousin, Roman Reigns.
While the prospect of seeing these icons return is monumental, the decision to host the event in Saudi Arabia is already generating significant heat from the fanbase.
The Fan Protests Over WrestleMania 43 Location
That frustration was on full display during last night’s Worlds Collide event in Las Vegas. When a promotional video for WrestleMania 43 aired, the live crowd responded with loud, unified chants of “You Sold Out,” which were clearly audible on the broadcast.

The backlash stems from the perception that WWE prioritized a massive payday over a more fan-friendly location like London, a city John Cena had previously championed for a future WrestleMania.
