Andrade Leaves WWE

Former United States Champion Andrade has departed WWE less than a year after his return, with a new report confirming his exit from the company.

Andrade Leaves WWE

The second WWE run for Andrade appears to have come to an end. Less than a year after his return at the Royal Rumble, he is once again out of the company.

Fans first noticed today that Andrade’s profile had been moved to the alumni section of WWE’s official website. A subsequent report from Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select confirmed that Andrade is no longer with WWE.

The news explains Andrade’s absence during last night’s episode of SmackDown. His recent tag team partner, Rey Fenix, challenged Sami Zayn for the United States Championship, but there was no mention or appearance by Andrade during the segment.

After returning as a surprise entrant in the 2024 Men’s Royal Rumble, Andrade was drafted to SmackDown and became involved in a storyline with the LWO and his former manager Zelina Vega against the new Legado Del Fantasma. The program, however, did not lead to a singles run. His last match was in the six-way ladder match for the WWE Tag Team Championship at SummerSlam.

This run contrasts with his first stint from 2015 to 2021, when he captured both the NXT Championship and the United States Championship. After requesting his release in 2021, he spent time in AEW until the end of 2023. His only title reign during his 2024 return was with the WWE Speed Championship.

As of now, no details regarding the reason for his departure have been made public.
