The wrestling world is still processing the news of Andrade’s abrupt WWE departure, but former AEW World Champion MJF is already making moves, wasting no time in sending a message to the newly minted free agent.
In a post on Twitter today, MJF publicly reached out to Andrade with an offer that was part taunt, part invitation.
“Ay yo @AndradeElIdolo Ima be in Mexico beating the ever loving s—t out of Mistico @CMLL_OFICIAL in front of all your broke a— country men. Lmk if you wanna grab a marg before I hop on my jet to Toronto to whoop mark briscoes hillbilly a—.”
The message comes just hours after it was confirmed that Andrade is no longer with WWE. Fans noticed his profile had been moved to the company’s alumni section earlier today, with a subsequent report from Fightful Select confirming his exit. His departure explains his absence during last night’s episode of SmackDown, where his recent partner Rey Fenix challenged Sami Zayn for the United States Championship without Andrade in his corner.
MJF’s public message will likely fuel speculation about a potential AEW return for Andrade. According to a separate Fightful Select report, sources within AEW have indicated that the door remains open for a comeback. This is despite the nature of his departure from the promotion in December 2023, when he reportedly backed out of a long-term contract extension, forcing last-minute creative changes.
