In a new post to his Instagram stories, Kaiser shared a photo of himself standing next to El Grande Americano. The visual evidence is clear: Americano is shorter than Kaiser, seemingly an attempt by the Imperium member to prove he is not the masked man who has aligned himself with The Judgment Day.
This situation was sparked by the events at last night’s WWE x AAA Worlds Collide: Las Vegas event. During the main event, El Grande Americano proved to be the decisive factor in Dominik Mysterio’s AAA Mega Championship match against El Hijo Del Vikingo.
When Vikingo had the champion pinned, Americano dragged the referee out of the ring to stop the count. In the chaos that followed, he also slid a metal plate into Dominik’s mask. This allowed “Dirty Dom” to hit Vikingo with a loaded headbutt, setting him up for the Frog Splash that secured the victory and made him a double champion.
After the match, El Grande Americano stood in the ring and raised the new champion’s hand alongside the rest of The Judgment Day, confirming his role as an ally of the faction.
