AEW Officially Announces Eddie Kingston’s Return Match

After a year on the shelf recovering from a torn ACL and meniscus, Eddie Kingston’s return to the ring is finally set. He is officially scheduled to face Big Bill at the All Out pay-per-view in Toronto.

The match was confirmed during last night’s episode of AEW Collision, when Big Bill issued the challenge for the September 20 supercard at Scotiabank Arena. This followed his call-out from last week, where he claimed to be the realest tough guy from New York, directly targeting Kingston.

Kingston had already responded via Instagram earlier this week, confirming he had signed a contract and was just waiting for Bill to name the time and place. Now, he has it. The bout will be Kingston’s first official match since suffering his knee injury in May 2024.

The updated lineup for All Out now includes:

  • AEW World Championship Match: ‘Hangman’ Adam Page (c) vs. Kyle Fletcher
  • Adam Copeland & Christian Cage vs. FTR
  • TBS Championship Match: Mercedes Moné (c) vs. Riho
