WWE Accused Of Underusing Randy Orton

WWE Hall of Famer Jake "The Snake" Roberts believes Randy Orton is being underutilized, an opinion recently echoed by fellow legend Ric Flair.

WWE Accused Of Underusing Randy Orton

It seems that in the current WWE landscape, Randy Orton has become a frequent subject of discussion among Hall of Famers. Now, another legend has joined the voices claiming The Viper isn’t being used to his full potential.

In a recent exclusive interview with Games Hub, Jake “The Snake” Roberts was candid about his view on the 14-time world champion, suggesting Orton could be doing far more.

“There’s several, you know, I don’t stay on top of the product like I should or like I used to anyway. So it’s really unfair for me to even go there, but Randy Orton, he needs more, he could deal with more,” Roberts said. He then drew a direct comparison between himself and Orton, adding: “Oh, Randy Orton is a lot like Jake the Snake. Without a doubt. Just the mannerisms and the way he carries himself.”

Orton wasn’t the only veteran Roberts mentioned. He also offered a blunt take on John Cena’s long tenure with the company: “Of course, I think John Cena’s playing them up. He’s been there a while, hasn’t he? Way too long.”

Roberts’ view of Orton echoes sentiments expressed by another two-time Hall of Famer just weeks ago. Ric Flair also stated that Orton is “underutilized,” speculating that The Viper’s outspoken nature might be the reason.

These critiques come even as Orton remains central to one of SmackDown’s top storylines. His rivalry with Drew McIntyre recently boiled over into a chaotic brawl on last Friday’s episode, forcing officials to step in and separate the two.
