Andrade’s WWE career has been over for only a weekend, but the wrestling world is already buzzing about his next move after a pointed message from one of AEW’s biggest stars.
In a typically abrasive tweet, former AEW World Champion MJF publicly reached out to the newly minted free agent. Referencing his own upcoming matches, MJF issued a taunt that doubled as an invitation: “Ay yo @AndradeElIdolo Ima be in Mexico beating the ever loving s—t out of Mistico @CMLL_OFICIAL in front of all your broke a— country men. Lmk if you wanna grab a marg before I hop on my jet to Toronto to whoop Mark Briscoe’s hillbilly a—.”
Andrade’s response was short and direct, featuring a middle finger emoji and the text: “🔜#VivaMexico CABRO….”
The exchange came just after Andrade’s departure from WWE was confirmed over the weekend, when his profile was moved to the company’s alumni section. Reports indicate the exit was far from quiet, with Sports Illustrated noting at least one violation of the company’s wellness policy and another report stating Andrade was escorted from a WWE venue back in August.
MJF’s public callout has already fueled speculation about Andrade possibly returning to All Elite Wrestling, which he left in late 2023.
