WWE Announces Judgment Day Star For NXT Homecoming

Finn Balor is the latest main roster star announced for tonight's special NXT Homecoming, joining an already loaded lineup of returning legends and current champions at Full Sail University.

WWE Announces Judgment Day Star For NXT Homecoming

NXT Homecoming was already positioned as one of the brand’s biggest specials of the year, but WWE has added even more star power on the eve of the event. The company announced that Judgment Day’s Finn Balor will join the lineup at Full Sail University.

Balor’s inclusion follows a string of announcements confirming appearances from United States Champion Sami Zayn, Bianca Belair, and the returning Bobby Roode.

For Roode, the night carries extra significance. It will be his first WWE television appearance in three years. The former NXT Champion, whose reign lasted over 200 days and helped define the black-and-gold era, has spent the past two years sidelined by neck surgeries. Now cleared, the 47-year-old has shifted into a full-time producer role backstage, a transition he had long targeted when he signed with the company.

The Homecoming lineup is stacked with familiar names from NXT’s heyday. DIY, Tyler Breeze, Rhea Ripley, Charlotte Flair, and Alexa Bliss are all scheduled to appear, ensuring the show doubles as a celebration of the brand’s history.

Three championship matches headline the card. Ethan Page will defend the North American Championship against the returning Breeze, while Flair and Bliss will put their newly won WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles on the line against Izzi Dame and Tatum Paxley.

The six-woman tag match has also been adjusted. With Tiffany Stratton out due to injury, Lyra Valkyria will step in to team with Ripley and Stephanie Vaquer against Fatal Influence.
