As he prepares for the biggest match of his career this Saturday, AEW’s Kyle Fletcher is drawing fuel from the competition. With WWE running WrestlePalooza the same weekend as All Out, the world title challenger views the scheduling as a direct challenge.

Appearing on Good Karma Wrestling, Fletcher addressed the move head-on. “Man, I think it’s good business practice from the other team. I think they’re trying to squash us,” he said, noting that the rivalry only sharpens his resolve. “For me, it puts a chip on my shoulder… It lights a fire under me. All I wanna do is go out there and do the best that I absolutely can so I can squish the other guys, you know what I mean?”

That determination centers on his AEW World Championship match against “Hangman” Adam Page. Fletcher promised a performance that will prove “nothing comes even close to AEW pay-per-views.”

His remarks echo the broader competition between the two companies, a subject recently discussed on a larger scale by WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray. On the Busted Open Podcast, Bully suggested AEW counter-program WrestleMania 43 in 2027—set to take place in Saudi Arabia—by holding its own marquee event in the United States.

Bully envisioned a wrestling festival in a hub city like Chicago, built around AEW and independent promotions, offering fans a domestic alternative to WWE’s international show.

For Fletcher, however, the focus remains immediate. The battle for fan attention plays out this weekend at All Out, even as the long-term war for wrestling audiences continues to unfold beyond the ring.
