NXT’s long-awaited return to Full Sail Arena—its first in more than 2,000 days—opened with a segment packed with familiar faces and history. Triple H and Shawn Michaels stood in the ring to start the show, joined soon after by William Regal, Charlotte Flair, and Alexa Bliss.

The night began with Triple H receiving a thunderous ovation as he made his way to the ring. Taking in the chants, he delivered a heartfelt message to the crowd. “I cannot tell you how much it means to come home,” he said, crediting the fans for turning NXT from “a whisper into a roar” and giving the brand the momentum to “take over.” He emphasized that the audience has always been the foundation of NXT’s strength.

The moment escalated when Shawn Michaels interrupted. He declared that he and the current roster were ready to “steer this ship into the future.” A brief back-and-forth followed, with Triple H teasing a comeback before HBK cut him off, warning that such a move would be a “very, very big problem.”

William Regal then entered, diffusing the tension with his trademark declaration: “WarGames!” The arena erupted at the familiar call.

The surprises continued as WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss arrived. Flair asserted that “the women have always run NXT,” while Bliss closed the segment with a nod to the past, telling the legends that if they weren’t on board, “then we’ve got two words for you.” The Full Sail crowd finished it with a loud “Suck it!” sending the homecoming off on a nostalgic and raucous note.
