Despite clear on-screen tension hinting at a future rivalry, fans anticipating a Liv Morgan vs. Roxanne Perez feud may have to wait. A new report suggests WWE has no creative plans in place for the program at this time.
Speculation began after Dominik Mysterio revealed that Morgan was upset with Perez following their loss of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships. The animosity gave the impression that a feud would be the natural next step once Morgan returned from injury.
According to BodySlam, however, that storyline isn’t currently being discussed internally. “As of recently, sources indicate to Bodyslam that there haven’t been any discussions about a Liv Morgan/Roxanne Perez feud upon Morgan’s return from injury,” the outlet reported.
The update comes amid wider conversation about Morgan’s role during her time away from the ring. Former WWE writer Vince Russo questioned the decision to feature her at the press conference announcing WrestleMania 43 in Saudi Arabia despite her absence from television, calling attention to the inconsistency of a star cleared for international travel but not for weekly programming.
Morgan has been sidelined with a dislocated shoulder, and reports indicate her in-ring return is unlikely before early 2026, dependent on a smooth recovery.
