Tony Khan Talks AEW All Out Time Change

AEW has announced a major change for one of its flagship events, shifting this Saturday’s All Out pay-per-view from its usual 8 p.m. ET slot to an earlier 3 p.m. ET start.

The adjustment was confirmed by AEW President Tony Khan during a Thursday media call. Khan framed the move as a decision made with fans in mind, pointing to the company’s recent success with afternoon shows over the summer. He emphasized that AEW regularly reviews the calendar to identify time slots that benefit both the promotion and its audience.

The new schedule also prevents All Out from going head-to-head with WWE’s Wrestlepalooza, which is set for Saturday evening. The shift is widely regarded as a strategic step to avoid a direct ratings clash between the two companies.

Khan also used the call to confirm the opening match of the main card in Toronto. FTR will face Adam Copeland and Christian Cage in a high-profile tag team bout to start the show, a pairing that underscores a rivalry that has built steadily throughout the year.

The lineup is further bolstered by Hangman Page defending the AEW World Championship against Kyle Fletcher and a Coffin Match pitting Jon Moxley against Darby Allin.
