A broken nose won’t keep Dax Harwood off the AEW All Out card. The FTR member confirmed he sustained the injury after being struck in the face with a microphone by Christian Cage, but made it clear he has no plans to miss Saturday’s scheduled tag team match.
The incident took place during a brawl at the September to Remember event involving FTR and the team of Cage and Adam Copeland. Harwood later addressed the situation on social media, revealing the extent of the damage and sending a pointed message to his opponents.
“I had an X-Ray today. To the shock of no one, I have a severely broken nose…..Unfortunately for Christian & Copeland, I’ll still be there. No way I’m missing out on this match. I’m going to embarrass you.”
AEW President Tony Khan confirmed during a media call earlier today that the tag team grudge match will open the All Out main card. The pay-per-view, set for this Saturday, September 20, will take place in Toronto.
Khan also addressed another significant change: All Out will start at 3 p.m. ET, moving away from its traditional evening slot. He explained that the decision was made with fans in mind, pointing to the strong reception AEW’s afternoon shows have received over the summer. The move also ensures All Out does not go head-to-head with WWE’s Wrestlepalooza, scheduled for later that night.
With Harwood competing through a legitimate injury, the already intense tag match has added urgency as it sets the tone for the evening. Beyond the opener, the card features “Hangman” Adam Page defending the AEW World Championship against Kyle Fletcher, along with a Coffin Match pitting Jon Moxley against Darby Allin.
What was already a marquee showdown now carries heightened stakes, as Harwood’s broken nose brings an added sense of volatility to what promises to be a violent start to AEW’s All Out.
