A potential spoiler has surfaced ahead of tonight’s Wrestlepalooza, as LA Knight was spotted in Indianapolis, the host city for the premium live event. PWInsider (via Wrestling News) reported Knight’s presence hours before showtime, fueling speculation that he could be part of the broadcast.
If he does appear, the most likely target would be the tag team match featuring The Usos against The Vision’s Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. Knight is currently embroiled in rivalries with both sides on Raw. His feud with The Vision escalated after Breakker and Reed attacked him and cost him a World Heavyweight Championship No. 1 Contender’s match, while a newer issue with Jey Uso has seen the two exchange finishers in recent weeks.
A surprise run-in would align with WWE’s effort to deliver a major statement on its first PLE airing under ESPN. The company has loaded the card with marquee moments to kick off the five-year partnership.
The lineup already includes Brock Lesnar’s first match in two years, as he opens the show against John Cena. AJ Lee also makes her long-awaited return to the ring, teaming with CM Punk to face Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch in her first bout in more than a decade.
The card is headlined by Cody Rhodes defending the WWE Championship against Drew McIntyre. Also scheduled is a match for the vacant Women’s World Championship, with Iyo Sky facing Stephanie Vaquer.
