Former WWE Star Competes in AEW for the First Time Since January

WWE legend MVP and the Hurt Syndicate battled Ricochet's The Demand in a chaotic trios match at AEW All Out, marking MVP's first bout in over nine months for the promotion.

The bout saw The Demand methodically target MVP’s left knee early, but the Hurt Syndicate fired back with explosive offense. Shelton Benjamin showcased his power, hitting multiple German suplexes before hoisting both Ricochet and Kaun for a massive double German. Not to be outdone, Lashley dominated stretches of the match, leveling opponents with powerful spears.

The chaos eventually spilled outside, culminating in a massive ringside brawl that saw Ricochet deliver a flip dive over the ringpost to wipe out multiple competitors. Back in the ring, MVP seemed poised to secure the victory, catching a high-flying Ricochet with a suplex and setting him up for the Playmaker.

However, a timely chop block from Bishop Kaun cut the veteran off, leaving him vulnerable for Ricochet to hit the Spirit Gun and secure the decisive pinfall.

Following the match, Lashley and Benjamin helped a visibly pained MVP to his feet as he continued to sell the damage to his knee. The loss marked not only a rare defeat for the former multi-time WWE United States Champion but also his first AEW appearance in over nine months. His only other match for the promotion was a victory back in January on Dynamite: Maximum Carnage, where the Hurt Syndicate was also successful.
