Jey Uso has a simple message for anyone concerned about his health status: “Im good 💉.”
He posted the blunt update on his Instagram Stories, accompanied by a photo showing his blood-streaked face. The post directly counters reports that he was placed in concussion protocol following a chaotic tag team match at Saturday’s Wrestlepalooza, where a steel chair spot went completely off the rails.
During the bout against Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, a chair Jey swung ricocheted off Breakker’s back and struck him in the head. A report from Fightful Select confirmed the resulting blood was entirely unintentional. The unplanned injury prompted Bryan Alvarez to state that Uso was under WWE’s concussion protocol.
“Jey busted himself open, he hit Bron with the chair and it bounced off Bron’s back and split him six ways from Sunday,” Alvarez reported. “He’s in concussion protocol, which is a requirement after any injury like this.”
The botched move visibly left Jey unsteady in the ring, leading special guest referee LA Knight to audibly call for the match to end. The Vision quickly capitalized for the victory after Bronson Reed hit a Tsunami splash, followed by Bron Breakker spearing both Usos through a table.
Following the pinfall, LA Knight simply walked out, leaving Breakker and Reed in the ring without acknowledging their win and continuing his storyline heat with Jey.
