27-Year-Old Star Leaving WWE

A new report claims NXT's Jazmyn Nyx is set to leave WWE, with her recent on-screen attack serving as a way to write her off television.

The backstage attack on Jazmyn Nyx during last night’s NXT was reportedly an angle to write her off television, with PWInsider Elite reporting she will leave the company once her current contract expires.

The storyline unfolded on the September 23 broadcast when Nyx was found laid out backstage by her Fatal Influence stablemates, Jacy Jayne and Fallon Henley. Instead of helping, Jayne declared: “It was time to drop her anyway. Only the strong survive.” The two then walked away, officially dissolving the faction.

Tension within Fatal Influence had been building. The split became evident after their high-profile loss to Rhea Ripley, Lyra Valkyria, and Stephanie Vaquer at the previous week’s NXT Homecoming. Jayne also appeared earlier in Tuesday’s episode in a solo promo with Lola Vice, further signaling the group’s fracture.

Nyx, real name Jade Gentile, signed with WWE in November 2022. She debuted on television in early 2024 with Chase University before later teaming with Jacy Jayne. The partnership expanded into the Fatal Influence stable following Fallon Henley’s addition.

Despite the reported exit, Jazmyn Nyx remains listed on the official WWE roster page as of this writing.
