WWE Has Major Plans for Roman Reigns at Survivor Series

Speculation points to Roman Reigns potentially competing in a WarGames match at Survivor Series against Seth Rollins' faction, The Vision.

WWE Has Major Plans for Roman Reigns at Survivor Series

Roman Reigns is officially advertised for Survivor Series: WarGames on November 29, and speculation points to his involvement in a major WarGames match. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, a possible scenario would see Reigns, The Usos, and two partners face Seth Rollins’ faction, The Vision, and two allies inside the cage at Petco Park.

Dave Meltzer noted, “Reigns was to finish filming ‘Street Fighter 2’ this week. So he’ll be available to come back. He’s scheduled for Survivor Series which is probably going to be another War Games with Reigns & Usos and two others against The Vision (the name the Rollins group is going by) and two others.”

The report emphasized that this remains speculation and not a confirmed plan, framing the idea as guesswork rather than finalized creative direction.

Reigns’ availability is now certain, as he has completed filming his role as Akuma in Street Fighter 2. PWInsider Elite had previously reported the project was set to wrap on September 25, explaining his absence from television since SummerSlam.

While Fightful Select indicated he is not expected to appear on this week’s SmackDown, his WWE return is imminent. He is already advertised for Crown Jewel in Perth, Australia, on October 11.

Reigns’ storyline exit occurred after SummerSlam, when Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed ambushed him following his tag team victory with Jey Uso.

Regardless of match details, Reigns’ presence at the November 29 PLE in San Diego is confirmed. He is prominently featured on the official poster alongside John Cena, CM Punk, Seth Rollins, and Rhea Ripley, solidifying his role on the card.
