Lucha Brothers’ WWE Reunion Confirmed

Penta El Zero Miedo has expressed confidence that he and his brother Rey Fenix will one day reunite as The Lucha Brothers in WWE. He shared his belief during a recent appearance on the Inside The Kliq podcast.

Although he offered no timeline, Penta was adamant about the future. “I know one day, when the Lucha Brothers return, the world will explode,” he said. “When? I don’t know. How? I don’t know, but I’m sure of it, I feel it in my heart. Imagine this, the best tag-team in the universe returns in the best company in the universe.” (h/t Wrestletalk)

Since arriving in WWE earlier this year, both brothers have competed as singles stars. Penta debuted on the inaugural Netflix broadcast of Raw, while Rey Fenix made his first appearance on the April 4 episode of SmackDown. Their most recent tag team match took place in July 2024 on AEW Rampage.

Working separately, they have each been featured prominently. Rey Fenix challenged Sami Zayn for the United States Championship on the September 12 edition of SmackDown, and reports suggest a major push could be in store. Penta, meanwhile, is engaged in storylines with Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston, and Grayson Waller.

Hints of a reunion have surfaced within those angles, with Woods stating that he “hates” Penta as part of their ongoing feud. Despite focusing on a future tag team run, Penta has also made his singles ambitions clear. He recently challenged Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio to a WrestleMania 42 match, seeking revenge for his loss at Backlash in May, where Mysterio successfully defended the title.
