AJ Lee announced on social media Friday that her original “Love Bites” merchandise design is now available on WWE Shop. The former Divas Champion explained the release was driven by fan demand, writing, “You asked, you got it. OG LOVE BITES shirts and hoodies now on wwe shop!”
The announcement follows Lee’s successful in-ring return last Saturday at the inaugural Wrestlepalooza premium live event. The bout was her first match since 2015 and saw her team with husband CM Punk to defeat World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins and Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch in a mixed tag team bout.
Lee secured the win by forcing Lynch to submit to the Black Widow. The finish immediately positioned her as a potential contender in the Women’s Intercontinental Championship picture.
Speaking at the Wrestlepalooza post-show, Lee reflected on competing after nearly a decade away. “The match? It felt amazing. It was really surreal. It’s been a minute. Everything hurts way more than I remember. But that was a lot of fun,” she said.
She also praised the current women’s division for its growth and support. “I mean, everyone was so welcoming and so kind and so complementary in a way that made me feel like, oh! I did something and that it meant something to these wonderfully talented women,” Lee said. “I’m so proud of them, like a mama… the evolution of the women has been the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. They deserved it 10 years ago, they deserve it now, they deserve even more in the next 10 years.”
