A tense confrontation unfolded on Friday’s WWE SmackDown when Jacob Fatu attacked Drew McIntyre following another promo aimed at Cody Rhodes and WWE officials. The segment on the September 26 episode, held at the Kia Center in Orlando, Florida, ended with Fatu standing tall after a violent exchange.

McIntyre entered the ring wearing a walking boot and began airing his grievances. He reminded the crowd that the Kia Center was the site of his 2017 WWE return and his second WWE Championship win over Randy Orton. From there, he shifted to questioning the integrity of WWE referees, accusing them of siding with Cody Rhodes. He argued that Rhodes misused his authority and cited a slow six-second pinfall count in a past contest as proof.

Nick Aldis interrupted to announce that WWE’s medical staff had cleared McIntyre to compete. McIntyre dismissed the claim, insisting on his own medical team instead. Aldis reaffirmed that referee decisions are final before leaving ringside.

As McIntyre resumed, Jacob Fatu’s entrance music hit. He confronted McIntyre directly, telling him to “stop b–ching!” and accusing him of coming out every week only to complain. Taking the microphone, Fatu said he was “all gas and no brakes” and warned McIntyre to sit his “peg leg a– down.”

The clash escalated when McIntyre landed a Glasgow Kiss. Fatu quickly retaliated with a superkick that sent McIntyre’s walking boot flying off his foot.
