WWE’s NXT brand presents its No Mercy premium live event tonight, September 27, from a nearly sold-out FTL War Memorial Auditorium. The show features four championship bouts, headlined by Oba Femi defending the NXT Championship against Ricky Saints.
The event has drawn major demand in the Fort Lauderdale market. WrestleTix reported that 1,384 of a possible 1,386 tickets were distributed by Friday afternoon, with 42 moving in the last 24 hours. The lowest-priced standard admission ticket was listed at $349. The broadcast begins with a pre-show at 6 p.m. ET, followed by the main card at 7 p.m. ET, streaming on Peacock in the United States and Netflix internationally.
Oba Femi enters the main event making the 11th defense of his NXT Championship, which he has held for more than 260 days. Ricky Saints earned the shot by defeating Josh Briggs, after wrapping up a North American title feud. Femi’s most recent defense against TNA World Champion Trick Williams on Tuesday’s NXT ended without a finish when a cross-promotion brawl broke out.
The NXT Women’s Championship will also be contested, with Jacy Jayne defending against Lola Vice. Vice secured the challenge by winning a Triple Threat at Heatwave. Jayne comes in after losing the TNA Knockouts Championship, with Vice attacking her during the go-home NXT episode.
Ethan Page will put the NXT North American Championship on the line against former U.S. Olympian Tavion Heights. Their rivalry has escalated through several encounters, including a flag vs. flag contest won by Heights and a moment where Heights disguised himself as Dr. Wagner Jr.
The card also includes a weaponized steel cage grudge match between Jordynne Grace and Blake Monroe. The feud began when Monroe cost Grace the NXT Women’s title at the Evolution PLE. In addition, Sol Ruca defends the NXT Speed Championship against Lainey Reid, who won a tournament to earn the spot.
Rounding out the lineup, Je’Von Evans meets Josh Briggs in singles action. The match stems from Briggs attacking Evans with a chain-wrapped fist following a contender’s bout loss.
