Kenny Omega will return to All Elite Wrestling on the October 1 episode of AEW Dynamite. The announcement came during the September 27 broadcast of AEW Collision, confirming his first appearance for the company since early September. The comeback is set for the sixth-anniversary edition of Dynamite.
On that night, Omega will wrestle in a six-man tag team contest. He will join the AEW Tag Team Champions Brodido — the duo of Bandido and Brody King — to face Josh Alexander and The Young Bucks, Matt and Nick Jackson.
Omega’s absence from television stems from a storyline on the September 3 episode of AEW Dynamite. During that angle, he was put through a table with a brainbuster by Kyle Fletcher.
The anniversary special will also showcase several high-profile bouts. A Title vs. Streak clash for the TNT Championship will see champion Kyle Fletcher defend against Hologram. Jurassic Express, featuring Jack Perry and Luchasaurus, will make their return to action on the same card.
In addition, a trios battle will feature the Death Riders — Jon Moxley, Daniel Garcia, and Claudio Castagnoli — against ‘Hangman’ Adam Page, Samoa Joe, and Powerhouse Hobbs. A mixed tag team contest is also scheduled, with Wheeler Yuta and Marina Shafir taking on Kris Statlander and Darby Allin.
