Major Update on Piper Niven’s Injury Amid WWE Career-Ending Rumors

WWE Superstar Piper Niven is out of action indefinitely with a neck injury, according to multiple reports. While sources close to the performer are reportedly confident she will be back, there are fears within the company that the injury could be career-threatening.

The severity of the situation has been highlighted in recent reports. Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer Live noted the internal concern that the injury could potentially end her career. On the Fightful Select Q&A, Sean Ross Sapp provided a detailed update, confirming the nature of the injury while noting the conflicting internal perspectives.

“It’s an injury, but as of this weekend when I asked, I don’t think they knew just how bad as of yet. We will continue to monitor things. It’s a neck injury, but it’s one that people have come back from. But she isn’t expected back any time soon. Some in the company fear it’s career threatening, but people close to her are confident that she’ll be back. She isn’t expected on television for the foreseeable future,” Sapp stated.

A subsequent report from Fightful affirmed that Niven is still awaiting an official diagnosis.

On WWE programming, Niven’s absence is being addressed in the current storyline. Her tag team partner, Chelsea Green, who is currently performing as a solo act, has stated in kayfabe that Niven is away “on a secret mission.”

Niven’s last televised match was on the August 22 edition of SmackDown. In that appearance, she scored a significant victory over Charlotte Flair.
