Jey Uso has declared that the recently reunited Usos will be more dominant than ever, stating that they are now “two different big singles characters” coming together to form an even more formidable tag team.

In a recent interview with ComicBook, Jey affirmed his confidence in their dynamic, stating that nothing changes when they team up despite their time apart pursuing singles careers. “The last time we were in the ring together, we dominated the whole business. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it,” he said. “If anything, we’re gonna run through them quicker than we did a couple of years ago… we’re back, and we’re about to show them what tag team wrestling really is about.” (h/t Wrestletalk)

This confident statement comes as an on-screen angle portrays Jey taking a leadership role within the team, a move that has created visible friction with his brother. Jimmy Uso has expressed issues with this new dynamic, even comparing Jey to the controlling version of their cousin, Roman Reigns.

Jimmy has elaborated on these concerns, warning that Jey’s new attitude comes with a heavy price. “He ain’t the same bro. He ain’t the same Uce out there, I’m telling you,” Jimmy said during a WWE Raw Recap appearance on September 23. “I know it for a fact. What’s happening is clouded. It’s coming at a cost, though.”

This “cost” was seemingly on display during the September 22 edition of Monday Night Raw. In a backstage segment initiated by Jimmy himself, Jey Uso repeatedly averted his gaze from WWE Champion Cody Rhodes to stare at his title, fueling speculation about a potential heel turn and his ultimate ambitions.

The Usos officially reunited in the ring on Raw, defeating the team of Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. The victory was secured following an appearance from the returning Roman Reigns, who aided his cousins against The Vision.
