Lyra Valkyria made a surprise appearance on NXT, continuing her psychological campaign against The Culling by presenting Tatum Paxley with a doll in her likeness. The appearance comes ahead of Valkyria’s scheduled match against Roxanne Perez on the October 6 episode of Monday Night Raw.
Valkyria’s interaction with the heel faction followed a tense backstage confrontation between The Culling and the duo of Je’Von Evans and TNA X Division Champion Leon Slater. The segment began with Evans and Slater discussing a potential future “dream match” between themselves.
Their conversation was interrupted by The Culling, as Shawn Spears, Niko Vance, Izzi Dame, and Paxley appeared. Vance issued a challenge to Evans and Slater on behalf of the group, which Slater accepted pending official approval from Santino.
After Evans and Slater left, Valkyria approached the remaining members of The Culling. Her gift was met with excitement from Paxley, but Izzi Dame reacted with disapproval, pulling her stablemate away from Valkyria to close the scene.
