Otis was spotted today at the WWE Performance Center, sparking talk that he is preparing for an imminent return to television. The sighting of the Alpha Academy member was first reported by Mike Johnson of PWInsider.

The powerhouse has been absent from WWE programming since his singles match against Rusev on the May 5, 2025, episode of Raw. Following his loss in that bout, Otis was the subject of a post-match attack by Rusev, which served as the kayfabe reason to write him off television.

While he has been off WWE’s main shows, Otis has not been completely inactive. He made a notable appearance in the Bardahl Cup battle royal at Triplemanía XXXIII in August and also competed in a dark match during the September 8 tapings for Main Event.

The reason for his extended time away was a legitimate elbow injury that required arthroscopic surgery. In the wake of the injury, Otis’s name was removed from WWE’s internal active roster list, and as of this month, the company has not provided any official public timeline for his return.
