A match between backstage interviewer Gia Miller and Tessa Blanchard is set for TNA Bound For Glory. The announcement came on the October 2 episode of TNA iMPACT, where Miller confirmed the bout in a video message.
The clash stems from Blanchard’s attack on Miller at Slammiversary, which led to her suspension. Miller later pushed for the suspension to be lifted, but with one condition: if Blanchard attacked her again, she’d get a match. After her reinstatement, Blanchard struck Miller once more, triggering the stipulation.
For Miller, this will be a return to the ring. Her last match was in April 2024. She debuted in 2020 and previously wrestled three times in TNA under another alias during the company’s “Throwback Throwdown” events.
The updated Bound For Glory card now features:
- TNA World Tag Team Championships — Tables Match: The Hardys (c) vs. Team 3D
- TNA World Championship: Trick Williams (c) vs. Mike Santana
- TNA Knockouts World Championship: Kelani Jordan (c) vs. Indi Hartwell
- Hardcore War: The System vs. Order 4
- Call Your Shot Gauntlet Match
- TNA X Division Championship: Leon Slater (c) vs. Je’Von Evans
- TNA International Championship: Frankie Kazarian (c) vs. Steve Maclin
Blanchard’s new TNA storyline comes alongside her return to CMLL, announced October 1 on CMLL Informa. Her TNA contract allows her to wrestle there, with her first match back scheduled for October 10. This move contrasts with her comments on the Refin It Up podcast in July, where she said “alliances” had stopped her from working for both companies in the past.
