Zilla Fatu is considered by many to be a future WWE Superstar, even though he is still competing on the independent pro-wrestling circuit in the United States.
Fatu, son of the late Umaga and a real-life member of The Bloodline and the Anoa’i family, is well known for his in-ring talent, much like others from the same lineage, such as Roman Reigns, Jacob Fatu, Solo Sikoa, and The Usos, who are already part of WWE.
In a recent interview with Denise Salcedo’s YouTube channel, Fatu commented on a recent attack involving Ricky Saints, former NXT Champion, at a Reality of Wrestling event in December 2025, teasing a possible WWE debut ahead of the Royal Rumble.
“Yeah. I mean, you’re going to see me on NXT getting revenge on Ricky Skanks. But first, you never know—I might run into him at Walmart. I might run into him at Waffle House. [Or] I might run into him at Whataburger. You never know, because guess what? If I get him before that, he’s not making it to NXT.”
Despite making strong threats toward Saints, Fatu currently does not have a contract signed with WWE.
On other occasions, when asked about a possible future with WWE, Fatu has made his intentions clear: he does want to sign with the company eventually, but he has also emphasized that he is in no rush to do so.
