Absent from WWE programming since Survivor Series in November 2025, when he teamed with The Vision and Drew McIntyre to secure victory in the Men’s WarGames Match, Brock Lesnar has announced that he will compete in the 30-Man Royal Rumble Match on January 31, in Saudi Arabia.

The announcement was made by The Beast Incarnate during the latest episode of The Pat McAfee Show.

“I’m going to the Royal Rumble and I’m going to win.”

This confirmation from Lesnar comes at a time when strong rumors point to a potential rivalry with Gunther, possibly culminating at WrestleMania 42.

The first encounter between the two since 2023 is expected to take place during next Saturday’s match in Riyadh. Interestingly, their very first confrontation also happened in a Royal Rumble.

Gunther, however, will face another major challenge beyond the Royal Rumble Match. He is set to take on AJ Styles in a Career-Threatening Match, likely to open the event.
