All Elite Wrestling’s debut on the HBO Max streaming platform is already making waves. During the live broadcast of the All Out pay-per-view, the opening segment featured multiple uncensored f-bombs, a first for an AEW PPV on the service in the United States.
The unfiltered language occurred during an in-ring interaction between Adam Copeland and Christian Cage. This marks a notable departure from AEW’s usual presentation on its weekly cable shows, Dynamite and Collision, which are subject to the stricter standards and practices of TBS and TNT.
The move immediately caught fans’ attention on social media. The less restrictive content environment of a streaming platform like HBO Max is something a segment of the audience has been vocal about wanting.
The heated segment led into the opening contest, where Copeland and Cage defeated FTR. The match also featured an appearance from Beth Copeland, who neutralized Stokely Hathaway at ringside. The intensity continued after the bell, however, as FTR brutally attacked both Cage and Copeland, culminating in a spike piledriver to Beth Copeland.
AEW All Out is currently airing live and will be available for on-demand viewing on HBO Max and through traditional pay-per-view providers shortly after its conclusion.
