AEW has confirmed that Jurassic Express will make their official in-ring return on the October 1 anniversary episode of Dynamite. The announcement follows the reunion of “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry and Luchasaurus at All Out in Toronto.
The reunion took place on September 20 at Scotiabank Arena after a four-way ladder match for the AEW World Tag Team Championship. Following The Young Bucks’ loss, they were confronted by a returning Jack Perry, making his first AEW appearance since November 2024.
Matt and Nick Jackson initially gained the advantage, but the lights went out before they could finish their attack. A video package revealed Perry had orchestrated the return of his former partner. Luchasaurus then appeared, cleared the ring of both Jacksons, and symbolically discarded the belt tied to his recent Killswitch persona.
With “Tarzan Boy” playing, Perry and Luchasaurus embraced in the ring, officially reforming the duo that once held the AEW World Tag Team Championship. The reunion had been subtly teased in recent episodes of the Being The Elite YouTube series.
Jurassic Express is now scheduled to appear on the six-year anniversary edition of Dynamite next Wednesday. While their return has been confirmed, AEW has not yet announced opponents for the former champions.
