AEW has announced two matches for Revolution 2025, scheduled for March 9 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. During the Grand Slam: Australia tapings, the company confirmed Kenny Omega will challenge Konosuke Takeshita for the AEW International Championship.
The event will also feature Will Ospreay facing his former United Empire stablemate Kyle Fletcher in a steel cage match.
The match announcement follows Omega and Ospreay’s tag team victory over Fletcher and Takeshita at Grand Slam: Australia.
The development stems from ongoing tensions between the competitors, with Omega pursuing Takeshita’s International Championship while Ospreay and Fletcher’s United Empire history adds personal stakes to their cage encounter.
