The future of former AEW World Tag Team Champions Private Party has become a subject of considerable speculation, as a new report clarifies their current standing with the company.
According to Fightful, Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen have not been involved in any creative plans for AEW since January 2025.
This creative freeze directly followed their championship loss. After winning the titles from The Young Bucks in October 2024, Private Party dropped the belts to the team of Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin. They have not appeared on AEW television since that match.
Their prolonged absence has fueled rumors that their contracts may be expiring soon. Adding to the uncertainty, reports have consistently indicated that WWE holds a significant interest in potentially signing the duo should they become free agents.
