AEW has announced four pay-per-view events for 2025: Revelation on March 9 in Los Angeles, Dynasty on April 6 in Philadelphia, All In on July 12 in Arlington, and Forbidden Door on August 24 in England.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reports that AEW intentionally keeps its complete pay-per-view schedule confidential to prevent WWE from scheduling competing events. The report notes that WWE has previously counter-programmed AEW events by booking shows in the same markets.
One of the reasons AEW PPV dates aren’t being announced well in advance is because of WWE countering Worlds End and All In Texas, as well as other shows. The stuff is being kept top secret and even those internally don’t know of dates and stuff after April.
Reports indicate that WWE’s December 2024 house show in Orlando, scheduled on the same night as AEW Worlds End, exemplifies this competitive scheduling strategy.
